We now have an opportunity for an experienced and skilled Sales Manager to help with the continuing expansion of our clients corporate client base. The corporate sales department is key to our continued success and as such we’re looking for a candidate who will drive the team forward.

Reporting in to the Regional Sales Director, you will be a key figure within the corporate sales department with 5 direct reports currently and immediate plans to further grow the team by another 7. You will contribute to the commercial strategy to ensure that business targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

•Evidence of effectively managing a team, prioritising workloads and ensuring results are delivered

• Lead by example – you will carry your own personal sales target as well as a team target to achieve each month

• Producing and executing development plans for each team member and providing support and performance feedback as required

• Demonstrable understanding of the Sales & Marketing environment, complex sales propositions and long sales cycles

• Direct the sales team and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth

• Ensure that sales activity is in line with the commercial strategy in order to meet business objectives and targets

• Continually review individuals’ progress towards sales targets and KPIs, providing support where members of the team are not exceeding targets

• Produce a monthly report, focusing on, but not limited to, activity within the month, as well as showing progress towards targets

 Knowledge and Experience:

• A background in B2B sales management within the job board or recruitment industry

• Proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, successful and results orientated sales department

• Ability to create a strong team spirit: showing the way, supporting your team and enjoying collective, as much as personal, achievement

• Adaptable selling and negotiating skills to win business and develop your team to do the same

Essential Criteria:

• Proven leadership capability and the ability to drive sales teams

• Understanding sales pipelines and how to develop from prospecting to sale and beyond

• Effective planning and organisational skills – able to juggle, prioritise and manage

• A self-starter, who thrives under pressure to achieve challenging goals

• Able to build and maintain internal and external relationships
